a hummingbird flaps its wings up to 80 times per second

all that energy and agitation feels somehow familiar. it’s inside me every day, underneath all the stillness..

i guess everybody has their own way of interiorizing their hopes, their expectations.. or simply their needs

that constant buzzing is left unexplained, but intuition makes it somehow understandable to me

so i wasn’t surprised when it stopped

it’s so unfair that we get to have bodies.. it keeps people from seing who you really are..

and most of the times.. only your body gets loved.

your mind quietly gives in and tries to fit their perception of what that body should think like, and when it never can quite fulfill those expectations it numbs all the ideas and all those personality traits that might give itself away..

and you end up going to sleep at night being thankful that at least your body is appreciated..

each day I get even more dissappointed in how few real men there still are. if any.

nobody has substance, they get their life experience from watching tv…

all magic is gone, and that was the only chance for a lasting or meaningful experience

when you walk into a room with a shining look, a bright smile and a ‘top of the world’ feeling, people can’t help from being amazed.

and it’s not you who gets them tied to your every move: it’s your enthusiasm.

it changes everything in you and that’s what people love about you

basically, your enthusiasm will make your life better… for as long as it lasts

not just for how you’re feeling, but also for how everyone else feels about you

so.. i guess for all the time enthusiasm hasn’t any excuse to change you, just use optimism

it’s not gonna make groundbraking changes in your life, but at least people won’t feel bad to be around u

it’s funny how you always seem to win the battles you haven’t even thought of fighting.

but when it comes to something you really want, it’s never so easy..

could be the other way around: you really want something you know you can’t have, and what you can have you’ll never want.

i think it all comes down to who is in control: addictiveness is caused by lack of control so.. you are built to want something that’s independent of your will and built not to care about what you’re getting for free.

i’m reading into my past soul, it seems so different from me now

where did i go for all this time?

how can i account for it?

people have the habbit of asking ‘how are you?’, ‘what have you done lately?’

that’s about the time i realise i’ve had my life on ‘silent’ or.. better yet.. ‘pause’

‘i’m fine’, ‘nothing much, been here and there’..

3 years unaccounted for.. where was i? asleep maybe.. uncoscious?

the answer to where i was can’t be places, my body was there, where was I?

i can’t believe the discrepancy between how i felt and wrote then and how everything’s so.. numb now

i guess it must be self defence

or just.. sleep
